How Laser Treatment Works in Hair Loss-Androgenic Alopecia

  • Increases the production of ATP that activates and restores the weak trichomic pocket.
  • Increases microcirculation in the trichomic pocket
  • Increases the intake of Oxygen and Ca ions from the pouch
  • Increases the rate of elimination of the harmful hormone DHT
  • Reduces the inflammation that occurs in the pouch.

Laser therapy (Low Level Laser Therapy) can be conveniently combined with other therapies used for this purpose such as autologous platelet-derived growth factor (PRP) and topical Minoxidil treatment in women and with Minoxidil-Finasteride in men.

Low-Level-Laser Therapy (LLLT) is now the first-line treatments for the treatment of Hair Loss and Androgenic Alopecia according to the guidelines of the European Dermatology Forum Guideline for the Treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia in Men and Women (2017). Two sessions are required per week of 15 ‘each for a minimum of 3 months.
