Biography of dermatologist Charry Chavelas

Iwas born in Agrinio (20/10/1970) and finished primary school (Elementary School ) and Secondary Education (Papazoglio High School & 4th Lyceum) in Ioannina, and was admitted to the Medical School of the University of Ioannina (1989) from which I graduated in 1995 with Degree Very Welcome.

I speak very well English.

I am a member of the Medical Association of Ioannina, the Hellenic Dermatological Society and the European Academy of Dermatology-Venereology.

During my studies in Medicine and under the guidance of the late Professor of Microbiology, Dr. Antoniades, I contributed, as one of the two authors, to the writing and completion of the academic project “HIV and AIDS” in 1995, which was taught by that year and until recently as an academic record to medical students.

Indeed, this academic project was honored by the Empirikio Foundation of Athens (1999).

My professional career started after my military service (1995-1997) as a medical doctor, during which I offered my services to the detainees and to the Officers of the VIII Division, from the position of the physician of the 406 GSN of Ioannina (now KICHNE ).

In the period 1998-1999 I started and completed my education as a qualified Doctor of the Internal Medicine Clinic of Amalia Flemig General Hospital in Athens, attending for approximately one semester at the Cardiology Clinic of the same Hospital.

Then, in the period 2000-2003, I qualified as a Dermatologist-Venereologist at the Dermatology Clinic of the University Hospital of Ioannina, and in March 2003 I was given the title of Dermatologist-Venereologist.
